The authors investigate a certain interpolation problem, searching among its solutions \(w(z)\) those satisfying the additional extremal condition \(w^*(z)w(z)\leq\rho^2_{\min}\), \(| z| < 1\), where \(\rho_{\min}\) is a positive Hermitian \(m\times m\) matrix.
