The authors discuss gene regulatory networks with delay. They study how the dynamics of smooth gene networks is related to the simplified dynamics of Boolean networks. The approach is to use Tikhonov's theory of singular perturbed differential equations and a modified algorithm of reducing delay equations to ordinary differential equations. A number of examples is offered to illustrate different kinds of dynamics of game networks.
