The author calls a complex space \(X\) a corona if there exists a continuous, proper, strictly plurisubharmonic function from \(X\) to \(\mathbb R \cup \pm\infty\). He shows that such a corona that is a 0-normal complex space admits a Stein completion if and only if the canonical topology on \(H^1(X,{\mathcal O})\) is separated.
