The authors consider Hopf bifurcation for non-smooth planar systems. It is shown that at most two limit cycles can be produced from focus-focus or focus-parabolic type points of order one, and from a parabolic-parabolic type point of order two. It is also shown that two limit cycles can appear near a focus point of type focus-focus, focus-parabolic, or parabolic-parabolic.
