The authors investigate how to control a complex dynamical network to attain an inhomogeneous equilibrium point via open-loop constraint control plus a feedback pinning control strategy. The control strategy can be used for the case where a few robots rescue several persons in a fire and the network topology represents the communication links between these robots. The problem of controlling the time-delayed and topology-switched networks to attain an inhomogeneous equilibrium needs to be further studied. The research may be helpful for understanding the dynamical behaviors of complex networks. The paper is organized as follows. In Section 2, the preliminaries are introduced. An open-loop constant control and feedback pinning control are investigated in Section 3 and 4, respectively. In Section 5, simulation results are proposed. In the last section, conclusions are presented.
