The present paper is a very good presentation of Hua Loo-Keng, Chen Jingrun, Wang Yuan and Pan Chendong, four outstanding XXth century Chinese mathematicians whose contributions to analytic number theory (Hua's inequality and Hua's theorem on skew fields, Goldbach's conjecture, least primes in arithmetic progressions, Waring's problem) are well-known. Moreover, the paper contains lively photographs.
