The authors study a analytical solution of multi-species reaction-dispersion-advection systems coupled by first order kinetics. A decomposition method without any temporary transformation has been proposed. This helps in dealing with exact formulas in the original concentration and is applicable to all dimensions. The authors use semi-group theory in the derivation. The solution has been compared with available results in the literature. The scheme is easy to implement and appears to have a potential for further extensions in higher dimensions for distinct retardation factors.
