The authors present a general method for resolving \(G_\delta\)-points into continua that are remainders in compactifications of~\([0,1)\). Using this they construct a plethora of continua that exhibit various dimensional phenomena -- non-coinciding dimensions, even transfinite -- and various degrees of rigidity, such as the Anderson-Choquet and Cook properties.
