In this paper, motions and switchability in a periodically force system with a parabolic switching boundary are investigated. The components of the vector fields in the normal direction of the switching boundary are used to study the switchability on the reparation boundary and the corresponding analytical conditions are developed. By the use of mapping structures, periodic motions in such a system are discussed. Two periodic motions and the analytical conditions are illustrated.
