This paper deals with a nonlinear problem arising in superconductivity theory and that describes the diffusion of the electric field in type-II superconductors. The authors propose a linear approximation scheme converging to the solution of the nonlinear partial differential equation. It is also derived the convergence of the method and found the error estimate. In the last part of this paper, the theoretical results are compared with numerical experiments.
