This paper is concerned with the role of magnetic fields in the noncentrosymmetric superconductors, such as CePt\(_3\)Si, UIr, and CeRhSi\(_3\). The modified Ginzburg-Landau model studied in the present paper contains an additional \textbf{n}\(\times\)\textbf{B} term, which corresponds to a change of the superconductor current, but which does not influence the quantum of the magnetic flux. The vortex phase is studied by introducing a new topological invariant. One of the main results of this paper is a computation of the kinetic helicity of the vortex. The proofs combine adequate related methods in the Ginzburg-Landau theory.
