Coalgebraic tensor product and homology operations (Q986684)

This paper is concerned with understanding further the tensor product of coalgebraic rings and modules of Hunton and Turner. The main result is that this coalgebraic tensor product is compatible with actions of a Hopf algebra over the base ring. The proof is done in three stages of increasing generality. The main case of interest is when the Hopf algebra is that of homology operations or the Steenrod algebra, which is treated as an example at the end of the paper. The case of the Dyer-Lashof algebra is also treated, with suggestions for future work on the subject.
