Description

This data set contains an origin/destination (OD) or traffic flow matrix between the 400 counties in Germany, where flows are stratified by five age groups and seven activity types. For this purpose, the national passenger transport demand model DEMO and the mobility behaviour survey "Mobility in Germany 2017" were used to create disaggregated trip chains, which were then combined to form the OD matrix. The results represent Germany-wide traffic flows for an average working day. Non-existent relations without demand, i.e. OD combinations of an age group and activity with a value of zero, are not stored in the table.
