Abstract: We prove analogs of the logarithm laws of Sullivan and Kleinbock-Margulis in the context of unipotent flows. In particular, we prove results for horospherical actions on homogeneous spaces $G/Gamma$. We describe some relations with multi-dimensional diophantine approximation.
