Abstract: The purpose of the paper is to give a new approach to tamely-ramified descent in Bruhat-Tits theory. This descent was first studied by Guy Rousseau in his thesis.
Linear algebraic groups over arbitrary fields (20G15) Representation theory for linear algebraic groups (20G05) Galois cohomology (11S25) Groups with a (BN)-pair; buildings (20E42) Group schemes (14L15)
