The methods presented in this article are a first step toward a systematic numerical analysis of generic bifurcations of Hamiltonian symmetric periodic orbits and relative periodic orbits (RPOs). After short introduction showing how to numerically exploit spatio-temporal symmetries of Hamiltonian periodic orbits and describing the modification of their previous results on RPOs in a symmetry breaking bifurcation in Hamiltonian systems [SIAM J. Appl. Dyn. Syst. 5, No. 3, 435--475 (2006; Zbl 1210.37034)], the authors present an algorithm for the numerical continuation of non-degenerate Hamiltonian relative PROs with a regular drift-momentum pair with applications to rotating choreographics in the three-body problem.
