This is a historic survey on visual images associated with polytopes, which came through the work of Alicia Boole Stott, the third daughter of the logician George Boole. In her 1900 publication [On certain series of sections of the regular fourdimensional hypersolids. Amst. Verh. 7, No. 3, 21 S (1900; JFM 31.0635.05)], \textit{A. Boole Stott} gave an intuitive proof on the classification of regular polytopes in four dimensions, which are the four-dimensional analogs of the Platonic solids. There are exactly six of those. Pictures of models of polyhedtra associated to such polytopes are shown in the paper, which also includes other historical comments concerning these objects.
