(From the authors' summary.) A Signorini-type perturbative scheme for the fraction problem of finite elasticity is adapted to accomodate for constitutive equations exhibiting a pole of arbitrary but finite order. Also using an idea of \textit{G. Grioli} [e.g. Appl. Anal. 15, 171-186 (1983; Zbl 0506.73044)] it is shown how to associate with a given elastic material other materials which are approximately constrained in the sense that the first-order approximation of the displacement gradient obeys an exact linear condition.
