    Solutions of boundary value problems for the equation \(T\psi '=-A\psi\) in a slab are used to define scattering, transmission, and reflection operators. This article deals with the monotonicity properties (as partial orderings of bounded self-adjoint operators in a Hilbert space) of these operators as functions of the slab width.
