We study the monotonicity properties of the scattering, reflection and transmission operators for plane-parallel slabs in their dependence on the slab width. The underlying equation describes neutron transport in absorbing media. The monotonicity considered is taken relative to the partial ordering induced by the cone of nonnegative functions in an \(L_ 2\)-space. [For part I see the review above].
