Impact equations for a nonholonomic system in generalized coordinates are discussed in detail in the general context of classical dynamics. These equations contain undetermined multipliers which complicate the problem. By an appropriate treatment, using \(\delta\)-functions and a matrix expression the author derived impact equations for a nonholonomic system without undetermined multipliers.
