Asymptotic completeness for three-body Schrödinger operators with short-range interactions (Q1174752)

The author proves asymptotic completeness for the three-body Schrödinger operator with a short range potential. Even though this result has been known through the work of \textit{I. M. Sigal} and \textit{A. Soffer} [e.g.: Lect. Notes Math. 1285, 435-472 (1987; Zbl 0651.35071) and \textit{V. Enß} [e.g.: Journ. ``Equations Deriv. Partielles'', St. Jean- De-Monts 1989, 1-31 (1989; Zbl 0734.35069)], the author adds some variants to the basic outline of Sigal-Soffer which make the argument somewhat more transparent in this case.
