(From the authors abstract.) An exterior problem for Laplace's equation in \(R^ 3\) with a Robin boundary condition is investigated. The particular form of the assumed boundary condition can be considered to be a perturbation of a Dirichlet boundary condition. The convergence of the solution to the Robin problem to that of the corresponding Dirichlet problem is proven for sufficiently smooth prescribed boundary functions.
