A variety of papers have explored the problem of finding appropriate conditions for a separately continuous action of a group or semigroup on a topological space to be jointly continuous. This paper considers the specific problem of a compact semilattice on a compact space. A rather general property, called property \(P\), is introduced, and it is shown that separately continuous actions are jointly continuous for compact semilattices satisfying this property.
