The basic cohomology of a transversely Kähler foliation \(\mathcal F\) is studied. The main result says that the basic Fröhlicher spectral sequence of \(\mathcal F\) collapses on the first term: \(E_ 1\simeq E_ 2\simeq\dots\). Several interesting examples are included.
