The author improves the pinching theorem of \textit{B. Y. Chen} and \textit{K. Ogiue} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 193, 257-266 (1974; Zbl 0286.53019)] for the scalar curvature of \(n\)-dimensional compact totally real minimal submanifolds in the \(n\)-dimensional complex projective space. He also proves others related results.
