Coding theory in white Gaussian channel with feedback (Q1211944)

The author discusses optimal coding in a white Gaussian channel with feedback transmitting Gaussian messages. Under the average power constraint he constructs a causal optimal coding method in the sense that the mutual information between the message and the channel output (up to a given time \(t)\) is maximized. Under the restriction of a linear feedback this coding procedure is also optimal in the filtering sense.
