The reviewer [Rev. Mat. Iberoam. 12, 477-490 (1996; Zbl 0874.11069)] obtained an upper bound for the exceptional set for Goldbach's problem relative to the values of a fixed polynomial. The author obtains a similar result, adding some uniformity in the height \(H(F)\) of the polynomials \(F\). Such a uniformity is of type \(H(F)\ll (\log\log N)^c\) with a positive constant \(c\) depending on the degree of \(F\).
