It is proved that the category of fuzzy neighbourhood convergence spaces is isomorphic to the category of fuzzifying pretopological spaces which are defined in the spirit of fuzzifying topological spaces. Characterizations of these spaces by convergence, closure operator and interior operator, etc. are obtained.
