This paper is devoted to the existence of global locally compact attractors for abstract dynamical systems which are not dissipative, that is they do not possess a bounded attractive (absorbing) set in phase space. The author presents a sufficient condition providing the existence of a locally compact attractor and then applies the obtained results to reaction-diffusion equations and differential inclusions.
