The authors introduce continuous-like mappings in fuzzy setting and fuzzy \(\theta\)-connected sets by the help of the concept of fuzzy \(\theta\)- closure. It is shown that for a fuzzy set \(A\) of a fuzzy regular space \(X\) the following is equivalent: (a) \(A\) is fuzzy connected set; (b) \(A\) is fuzzy \(\delta\)-connected; (c) \(A\) is fuzzy \(\theta\)-connected. Finally, the authors study the images of fuzzy \(\theta\)-connected sets under different types of continuous-like mappings.
