The author considers incomplete transversal designs with block size five \(\text{TD} [5;v]- \text{TD} [5; n]\), i.e. transversal designs with one subdesign removed. He shows, by construction, that such a design exists iff \(v\geq 4n\) and \(n\geq 1\), with 108 possible exceptional pairs \((v,n)\) which are listed. This result improves previous ones.
