The author gives a new construction of the \(p\)-adic \(q\)-\(\zeta\)-function using Cassou-Nogues' approach in [\textit{P. Cassou-Nogues}, Sémin. Théor. Nombres 1974-1975, Exp. No. 24 (1975; Zbl 0386.12011)] instead of the method of Koblitz-Mazur in [\textit{N. Koblitz}, J. Number Theory 14, 332-339 (1982; Zbl 0501.12020)].
