    FORTRAN routines for mutual conversion of the Gregorian, Julian, and Jalaali calendars (the latter differing considerably from the Gregorian one as for the leap-year rules) as well as the Julian Day numbers are described. Ephemeris Time together with an analytical theory of the Sun's longitude serve as the starting point. Vernal equinoxes 1900-2099 AD are tabulated and expressed in UT1.
