Summation averages and the oscillation of second-order nonlinear difference equations (Q1362229)

Using the summation averaging method, the authors establish some new oscillation criteria for the second-order difference equation \[ \Delta^2y+ A(k,y)= B(k,y,\Delta y),\quad k\geq k_0. \] Some of the results obtained here are discrete analogues of the results given by \textit{M. Naito} [Hiroshima Math. J. 24, No. 3, 657-670 (1994; Zbl 0827.34035)].
