The author considers the nonlinear initial-boundary value problem of parabolic type for the rather general class of systems of strongly nonlinear parabolic functional differential equations. A system of conditions is formulated under which the problem with the nonlinearity of polynomial growth in the first partial derivatives has a weak solution, even in the unbounded domain. Then a similar existence theorem is proved for the strongly nonlinear initial-boundary value problem in bounded domain with Dirichlet boundary condition. Here the conditions of the nonlinearity are more general, the quick growth in the solution is allowed.
