Using the principle of subharmonicity for the minimal singular value function of \(sI-A\), the proposed spectral value set algorithm uses a predictor and corrector step that decreases and enlarges an approximation of the spectral value set for structured perturbations of a given matrix \(A\). This method is approximately 35\% faster than the singular value decomposition approach to the pseudospectrum evaluation.
