Fat curves are curve like areas having a width. If they are specified incompletely, fitting procedures might be applied. -- The present paper investigates four such procedures. In the first two cases, the curvature of the axis curve is assumed to be piecewise constant or to belong piecewise to a fixed interval. The remaining two cases explore the fitting if only sample points or imprecise sample points, which are then represented as intervals, are available.
