Adjoint functors and equivalences of subcategories (Q1407224)

The authors consider adjoint pairs of covariant functors between complete and cocomplete abelian categories. They investigate equivalences induced by the specified pairs of functors between some subcategories of the categories with the properties mentioned above. In such a way the authors develop a theory which essentially generalizes the theory of Morita equivalence between categories of modules. This general scheme is also used for categories of modules over corings.
