Classification of almost compact real forms of affine Kac-Moody algebras (Q1408753)

The authors complete the classification of real forms of affine Kac-Moody algebras that they and others had begun earlier [\textit{V. Back-Valente, N. Bardy-Panse} and the authors, J. Algebra 171, 43-96 (1995; Zbl 0823.17034)] by classifying almost compact real forms; i.e. forms corresponding to semi-involutions of the second kind. They derive several invariants for these forms and produce a table of their results. They also establish that there are no isomorphisms among the forms on their list.
