The paper deals with upper and lower \(\delta\)-continuous multifunctions which take points of a topological space to fuzzy sets in a fuzzy topological space. Some characterizations and properties of these multifunction are investigated as parallel versions of some allied types of multifunctions, done earlier by others; in fact, the descriptions go quite analogously to those in the corresponding papers, cited in the bibliography. Moreover, the so-called `application of fuzzy set theory' given in Section 5 of the paper is of no relevance to the investigations done in the paper.
