The equation \(\bar\partial u=f \) is solved on bounded convex domains in \({\mathbb{C}}^n\) of finite type. The proof is based on precise estimates on the Bergman kernel without using suitable support functions, but via a weighted kernel. This yields optimal bounds and norms.
