A simple numerical method is presented for some special Fredholm integral equations on the real line. Under suitable hypotheses on the smoothness of the kernel the authors propose a numerical procedure for the computation of the approximate solution based on interpolation processes, related to Hermite zeros of truncated functions. It is stable and convergent. Error estimates and some numerical examples are shown.
