    The authors consider a three-dimensional inverse problem for determination of the right hand side of the transport equation. This problem is connected with the inverse problems of integral geometry. For computing an approximation of the analytic solution of this inverse problem the authors' approach is the symbolic computation method. The solution is investigated in the meaning of the weak solution. The algorithm has been implemented in the computer algebra system MapleVR5. Reviewer's remark: The authors do not show the results of the numerical computations by the algorithm and the computing program given in the paper.
