This paper deals with a theoretical study of Rayleigh wave scattering due to mountain of finite depth at the coastal region. The author assumes that medium is homogeneous, isotropic and slightly dissipative. An exact solution is obtained in terms of Fourier integrals whose evaluation along appropriate contours in the complex plane yields the reflected, transmitted and scattered waves. The method of solution is the Wiener-Hopf technique.
