The authors outline the extended Kantorovich method for free-edge stress/strength analysis for stretching, bending, and twisting. The formulation of a modified optimized functional subject to a convex set of constraints is derived. Moreover, genetic algorithm with a repair strategy and a multiple elitism is outlines. Finally, numerical examples and discussions are provided.
