For parts I and II see [ibid. 38, No. 2, 213-223 (1998; Zbl 0920.35009)] and [ibid. 38, No. 3, 362-378 (1998; Zbl 0930.35018)]. This paper concerns intrinsic connections of so-called Korteweg-de Vries differential equations, which are defined by the author as submanifolds of the prolongation space \(J_3E\) of a three-dimensional fiber bundle \(\pi: E\to M\) over a two-dimensional basis \(M\).
