Convex optimal boundary control problems are considered. A finite element approximation of the problem is investigated. In order to obtain a numerical solution of desired accuracy the finite element meshes have to be refined. For adaptive finite element approximation a posteriori error indicators are necessary. Full a posteriori error estimates are derived for the state and the control. An adaptive algorithm based on the estimates is described.
