The paper follows the usual line in adaptive control. One considers a different plant structure, with unmodeled dynamics and perturbations in input and output channels. The relative degree of the modeled part is larger than one which requires modifying the augmented error and input signal in order to supress disturbances and uncertainties. The proposed adaptive control allows the tracking error to become arbitrarily small and ensures global stability of the overall system.
