This paper is centred on the analysis of multilinear finite-element implementations of iterative processes with complete and incomplete splitting of boundary conditions for solving Stokes-type problems in a layer with a periodicity condition. Explicit expressions for the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of the arising operators are derived, and their properties are examined. Iterative processes are proposed and substantiated, whose convergence rates exceed those of previously analyzed processes in a number of cases.
